Qvevri Club
"Because wine is better from a Qvevri"
What's a Qvevri?
Pronounced “kwevry”, a qvevri is a beautiful egg-shaped ceramic vessel used in Georgia for wine fermentation. Traditionally, grapes are placed into large qvevris (up to eight feet in height) which are then sealed and buried underground where the magic happens.
What's Qvevri Club?
The qvevri you receive when you join Qvevri Club is a miniature, hand-held version of the giant qvevris used to ferment wine in Georgia. Rather than fermenting wine in this qvevri, you’ll drink from it. Why join Qvevri Club? Maybe it’s your love for Georgian wine. Maybe you enjoy your glasses by the double, kept in cool clay jars. Perhaps you’d like discounts and member meet-ups. There are many great reasons to join Qvevri Club, but the number one is that you become a friend of Keipi, a believer in the vision that authentic communing and merrymaking is not relegated to ages past. Members join our quest to remember proper celebration.
